Rand Tower Being Converted to Boutique Hotel

The Rand Tower, an art deco office building in downtown Minneapolis, will be converted into a Tribute by Marriott hotel, the first for that brand in Minnesota. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2020.

Ameriprise Sells Chaska Hotel and Event Center

Bobby Atkinson, who was active in Twin Cities real estate until shifting gears to launch a TV network a dozen years ago, has returned to the industry and purchased 123 acres of land and the Oak Ridge Conference Center in Chaska from Ameriprise Financial.

Pentagon Park Redevelopment Underway

Redevelopment of the former Pentagon Office Park in Edina is underway.  The $150 million project will feature 12,000 square feet of retail, two hotels, a parking ramp and a speculative office building.

Kraus-Anderson Completes Mixed-Use Development in Minneapolis

Kraus-Anderson Construction has finished construction on Ironclad, a $100 million mixed-use development project at Chicago and Washington Avenues in the historic Mills District near U.S. Bank Stadium in downtown Minneapolis.

Owned and developed by Kharabunda Management, the 418,864-square-foot project adds new housing, hospitality and retail to the East Town district and the Downtown East Neighborhood.
