Aimbridge Hospitality and Interstate Hotels & Resorts have entered into an agreement to merge, creating what will be the largest third-party hotel management company in the world with 1,400 branded and independent properties in 49 states and 20 countries.

The Cushman & Wakefield team of Ronn Thomas and Tim Storey represented seller Eagan Hospitality LLC in the sale of the 80-room Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham at 3000 Denmark Avenue in Eagan.
Thomas and Storey listed the property, which is located conveniently off I-35E and only five minutes from the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, and received strong interest in the hotel due to its location within the Twin Cities Lodging Market.
“It’s a seller’s market for strong hotel properties in the Twin Cities,” said Thomas. “We received a half-dozen offers for this property alone, and many inquiries beyond that.”
The sale closed August 27.
This is the 4th hotel the Cushman & Wakefield Midwest Hospitality Team has sold in the Twin Cities Metro thus far in 2019.
