A 500 to 700-room hotel may be built next to a planned water park at Mall of America, which would be one of the largest indoor water parks in North America. The hotel would be situated between the $250 million water park and a planned 1,500-stall parking ramp just north of the Mall of America.

The megahotel could be the first of many. MOA owner Triple Five reportedly may build three more hotels with another 1,100 to 1,300 rooms around the water park. The site plans also includes a six-level, 400,000-square-foot office building and 170,000 square feet of retail.
