Ronn Thomas from Cushman & Wakefield was retained by Kelly Inns LLC to discretely market and sell the 149 room full service Best Western Kelly Inn Plymouth Hotel.

CHALLENGES

• Owners were concerned that the hotel staff realize the property was for sale.
• The property contained two tenant Leases.
• The property was a 40 year old full service hotel that included a waterpark, banquet facilities, restaurant and tenant leases.

RESULTS

• Discretely marketed the hotel so that employees were unaware of the sale.
• Negotiated favorable Lease extensions with the Tenants.
• Found buyers by aggressively marketing the property throughout the upper Midwest.
